Prayer

We would appreciate your prayers for the work of church planting and strengthening in Wales.
You can download a copy of these prayer points for use in a church service or prayer meeting.

Please pray generally for:

• Effective functioning and development of the leadership team representing the spectrum of evangelical ministries, networks and churches in Wales
• The follow-up of requests from our conferences for helping local churches
• David and Liz Ollerton and the family as David undergoes chemo treatment during the autumn.  It is precautionary and he will be working as usual and still travelling most of the time.

Please pray specifically for Harbour Church, Pwllheli:

The Church was seeded late October 2008 by Simon and Jacquie Rose and their family with a small number of friends from Caernarfon Pentecostal Church.  After worshipping for three months, praying for God to inhabit the praises of his people, the congregation started to reach out with some street work and God led them to specific people.

The church grew to about fifteen.  Support from close friends strengthened and a leadership ‘team’ started to develop comprising Simon, Jacquie and Sian Rees, one of the leaders from Caernarfon Pentecostal Church.  The church now averages 25 with more than 40 on some special occasions.

Give thanks:

• A young couple are now running a youth Alpha and have formed a worship group
• Lives are being changed through people’s commitments to God
• Four people have been baptised and two more are planned soon
• A young man (14) had an experience with God after his mum’s baptism … he came into a relationship with God during the night
• Three weeks earlier an older lady was saved!  Praise God.

Pray:

• That relationships with other churches (which are strategic for mutual support and Kingdom growth) continue to strengthen
• More people to be saved
• The tangible presence of Jesus in the services
• That those people who belong with us will come
• For another meeting place.
